Mild / natural modified VS long protocol

Just interested in getting some opinions / advice

We have MFI - low concentration, borderline low total count. All my tests are normal. Depending on sample on the day, we would do ICSI.

We are with Chelsea and Westminster and have 1 funded round. Their standard recommendation is long protocol for anyone with an AMH of below 25. It sounds like quite a long and injection / hormone crazy experience. The consultant has explained they do the down reg to control your cycle and encourage equal follicle growth.

Alternatively, we could do a round with ABC who would offer mild / natural modified, but we would pay for it. It sounds more straightforward with less side effects.

What is everyone's experience / advice for this? Is it worth doing long protocol or could we get a similar result with a better experience going with ABC? Thank you!
