Anyone had heavy bleeding and clots at 6 weeks and everything all ok?

Just wondering if anyone has had heavy bleeding and clots at just before 6 weeks (5+5) and everything still been ok?

Had a scan today and they can see a sac and yolk but not Fetal pole or heartbeat. She said it's early but would still have expected to see more.

Any hope or is this definitely a miscarriage?

Hey, I am 7 weeks tomorrow. Last Sunday I started passing clots and lots of fresh bright bed blood. I was terrified however EPU did a scan Monday and all was well, heartbeat observed. There was no explanation for why this happened and was told with IVF this can be more common. We have follow up with fertility clinic tomorrow and hoping the heart beat is still strong. Is there a follow up scan x

Hi OP, I had a massive bleed with clots at 5 weeks and then another bleed a few weeks later, thankfully I carried to full term . Wishing you all the luck , I did read somewhere that bleeds are 50/50

Yup I had a massive bleed at 6 weeks. All was fine.

Thanks for all the messages. Had a follow up scan and there was a heartbeat! They're not sure why I have been bleeding. To be honest I'm still bleeding a little each day now but more like old brown blood.

Scan again next week so hopefully all will be well and baby grown x
