Told I can't have a fresh transfer - any advice? :(

Hello everyone

I'm part way through my first cycle of mild IVF (with Create) and following my second scan today, I've been told I may not be allowed to have a fresh transfer as based on my follicle growth and blood tests, my estrogen levels may be too high. I assume this means they suspect OHSS but I don't have any symptoms and feeling completely fine.

Really disappointing to hear as it means waiting yet another month for a frozen transfer. Just wondered whether anyone has been through this and had any advice? Obviously we need to do the safest thing, but wondered whether there's anything else we can do?

Hi, I had my first egg collection at the start of March and similarly to you I wasn't allowed to have a fresh transfer due to OHSS risk following my scans during stims. I'm due to have my first frozen embryo transfer on 7th June. I totally understand your frustration and disappointment. It becomes back to more waiting again 😞 time seems to go so slowly
