I am currently on day 17 of Buserelin injections before my first frozen embryo transfer (provisional date for this is 2nd June). Clinic advised me to expect a bleed after taking Buserelin injections however I am still waiting for period to arrive. I am due to start Progynova tablets on Friday but only if period arrives by tomorrow.
Have any of you experienced having no period after Buserelin injection and still gone ahead with embryo transfer on scheduled date? A bit worried that not having a period will delay the embryo transfer and I'm keen for it to take place after waiting so long to get to this stage.
Clinic did mention that I will be called in for a scan if I don't get my period to see how things are looking before deciding next steps. I suffer with irregular periods (one every 2 1/2 - 3 months) and have been diagnosed with PCOS so think this could be the reason why period hasn't arrived.
