Hi all,

I have been told that I can choose which of these clinics we are referred to and I would love some recommendations please.

I am 39.5, all our tests have come back fine.

I read something on here about CARE not being open at weekends?

I would appreciate any thoughts. Thank you!

Sorry I can’t help with any experiences of the clinics as I’m still waiting for my initial tests and scans appointment at St Mary’s. But I sometimes go on the Peanut app (it’s free to download and you don’t have to use the Tinder-style matching feature) and they have a group called: “IVF/ ICSI Fertility Treatment Greater Manchester UK” which gets regular posts, if you ask there I’d think you would find some people who could share their experiences.

I’m nearly 38 so have been looking at the IVF success rates on the HEFA website for the 38-39yo age group (not sure if I’ll be eligible through the NHS yet anyway) and Care seems to get the best success rates of the three but I’m sure there are other factors to take into account too. Hope you’re able to find some more out so you can make the most informed choice 🤞
