Cyclogest help!

Hi all,

6 years TTC. 4 cycles of Letrozole so far. 3 failed, one CP.

I've now been given cyclogest to take 'after peak' but it's not quite clicking with me what that means. Is it;

  • As soon as you have your peak, start using it that night
  • Wait until LH goes back down (next day), and then start using it that night

Also, if by some miracle I get a positive test then do I need to carry on using them? If I stop will it result in MC? If I carry on will it effect baby?

Feel like I've already been a nuisance to the FC so want to ask here if anyone's had the same and can provide some advice before I go nagging them

I think these are quite important questions that you need answered. I think you should speak with the clinic tomorrow morning, they certainly won't think you are bothering them.

I use cyclogest as part of my recurrent miscarriage protocol. I start it at 3dpo (measure my bbt). You usually ovulate around 12-36 hours after peak opk. It's better to be certain that you've ovulated than rake it too early.

Definitely check with your clinic though - for me, I'll be on it until at least 16 weeks.
