Fed up of infertility and Recurrent misscarriges rant ! 🤬

Basically , I am 30 , I have had 7 misscarriges between 5-6 weeks ! 6 natural 1 ivf ! Nhs testing found no cause at all? bloods + womb scan +genetic +sperm test all normal I am healthy and not overweight ! So I’m unexplained !!!
I am just so fed up of falling pregnant and losing all of them with no reason ! I am so fed up of hoping this one works out and it doesn’t ! When is it time for me to give up ??? Like seriously I feel like what’s the point of trying again ! I feel like my life is over , iv had infertility for 7 years now . Sorry about the rant but I am childless and nobody knows about my struggles and the pressure is high for having a child , everyone asking when I’m having a child , grandparent , friends , everyone ! I just feel like I want to disappear and not have to deal with any of this , the older I get the more pressure I feel because I know that I don’t have a plan to hold onto pregnancy so there is no hope of it ever working !!! 😓 and I defenetly can’t tell anyone as It will make me feel so low and broken like I can’t do what others woman bodies can . It’s just endless hopeing and then disappointment ! Can anyone help me get out of this dark hole and help me find a light at the end of the tunnel ? What do I do 😭? Thank you for anyone taking time to answer xxx

@ShareLove I'm so sorry. It's so hard and I completely emphasise with your despair. Has your partner had a DNA fragmentation test? They are not done as standard on the NHS. I really hope the knowledge of people on here can throw you a lifeline and offer some explanation at this point. Hugs x

@FlyOnTheWall89 hey yes he’s had this test and all is fine :( thank for replying xxx

If I were you, I'd be seeking out the greatest specialist for recurrent miscarriage because that seems like a lot of MCs. To me, they've just not identified the problem yet... it isn't 'unexplained'. I don't have the answer, but hope you get one soon. Hope someone on here can help!!!! X

So sorry for your losses. I've had 2 MC. Both IVF.

Have you had all the immunological tests done? There are many that can be done.

In a few days I will also have the NK cell testing done.

We have knwon sperm quality issues but still want to get the tests done to rule out other causes.

I’ve had six miscarriages and will be seeing Dr Shehata for immune testing. He’s a reproductive immunology and recurrent miscarriage specialist who, if I’m honest, I probably needed to see four years ago. Instead, I carried on down the NHS route with the odd private consultation. A few possible causes have been identified, which both my partner and I have been/will be treated for, but I’m throwing everything at it this time and having these immune investigations as well as an EndomeTRIO to check my womb lining. I’ve recently decided to go through IVF and now have three chromosomally normal embryos, one of which I’ll transfer once I’ve been through this testing and treatment.

Thanks everyone !
@MyEasterEggs hey , I haven’t had any immune testing done , because my consultant doesn’t belive in this BUT he’s willing to give me steroids next time without testing first which I’m so happy about ! ( if he would of not agreed to give me steroids , I would of gone private for immunes )
also I have had 3D scan which shows heart shaped uterus , that was long time ago but this time Iv had another misscarrige with IVF , so they want to do hysteroscopy with a camera to see inside propley as there might be a septum or something simple to fix ! So I’m very happy with my new plan ! I have 1 frozen left so I’ll transfer this with steroids and if it doesn’t work then next time I’ll be doing PSG generic testing on embryos before transferring them too xxx

Sounds like you have a good plan @ShareLove and one you’re comfortable with, which is the most important thing. Will you also be trying progesterone? A friend of mine pushed for that after four losses and went on to have a healthy baby in the pregnancy where she tried it. Good luck with everything and keep us updated xx

ShareLove · 09/05/2022 09:46

@MyEasterEggs hey yes I have progesterone and the injections too , I did ivf and you get this everytime , but unfortunalty I still lost my pregnancy at 6 weeks . I am so exited for my hysteroscopy just to see maybe there is something that is causing my losses , maybe it’s not immune related at all , I just want all clear with my uterus before I trasfer another embryo with ivf :) I might have a septum in my uterus which wouldn’t let the pregnancy grow as there is no room to grow so if i get this fixed then I shouldn’t have a problem after that . Or maybe it’s all clear in there , at least I’ll know then , and then I’ll know it will be immune related if uterus is all well ! Well at least I’m doing both of these things , the scan and steroid so I have high hopes ! Thank you for messaging me and I’ll keep updated ! Xx
