DH and I have been trying for 12 months with no positive results. I have a 9 year old DD but DH has no natural children (although he is a wonderful stepfather). I am 40 and he is 42. I am starting to lose hope - we can't afford IVF - does anyone have a story of hope for me? My friends are all having a 'second wind' and are all having babies and I am finding the endless routine of pregnancy announcements, baby showers and arrivals increasingly hard. Please help me deal with this.
