Cycle issues after HSG?

Has anyone had cycle issues after their HSG?

I had an HSG on CD10 because of unexplained secondary infertility and I am now on CD30 (15dpo) with no signs of my period showing up. Multiple pregnancy tests are negative so it's not that unfortunately.

My cycles are normally bang on 25 days so 30 is completely unheard of for me.

Just wondered if this has happened to anyone else after an HSG?

My period always disappeared after any being messed around with! Whether it was a fertility test or removing abnormal cells etc. I think stress is a huge factor. Hopefully it’ll arrive soon, if not I’d contact your fertility team/unit

I ended up getting my period on CD30 which was really unusual for me.

We had an appointment this morning for the results of my HSG and my husband's semen analysis and everything is fine so still no explanation for our issues TTC.

The specialist this morning has given me clomid to try so there's that at least.

How long have you been trying @TheFutureFreaksMeOut ? I've just had my HSG too. Will be interesting to see if mine is delayed. Did you get much pain/discomfort?

We've been trying for 3 years. 3 chemicals in 2019/20 and took a break until September 2021 due to mental health issues after the miscarriages.

I had an appointment with the recurrent miscarriage clinic in London in July 2021 but all tests came back fine.

No pain, suuuuper slight cramping after my HSG and my period was fine too!
