I'm a wee bit worried and looking to see if anyone has had a similar experience etc.

I got the Implanon removed on the 10th of March 2021, and I had around 5/6 months of periods, I've not had a thing since the 4th of October.

Next year, we're looking to start TTC, and I'm now beginning to panic. Work has been extremely stressful, so I've been putting it down to that. However, this week, my sister's pregnancy announcement has given me the kick up the bum I need to go to the doctor's and get myself checked out. So I went this morning, and they've taken bloods to check - results back in 1/2 weeks.

Has anyone had a similar experience and can advise (if you don't mind) what was wrong?

@103biscuit When you had 5/6 months of periods, were they regular?

Its not completely unheard of for someone to not bleed for multiple months in a row, but its not ideal. I'm sure I read in the NICE guidelines that if you have not bleed for six months in a row then your GP should give you something to induce a bleed, so it might be worth bringing that up.

What bloods tests have they run?

It's not rare, actually it's a very common symptom around here. It could be due to stress, weight loss/gain, malnutrition, cysts, pcos, endometriosis. It can be something or nothing. Try not to worry, keep telling yourself that the doctors will let you know and there is nothing you can do atm.

Keeping everything crossed for you x
