Endometriosis and IVF

Hi,

I've been TTC for 3 years and never had a positive test in that time!
I discovered last year that I have severe endo, after years of the usual struggles.

I've been approved to move forward with IVF (DH results have come back ok) I've had laproscopy to drain an endometrioma before egg collection.
They found that both ovaries are fixed to pelvic side wall and my left fallopian tube is adhered to the ovary so they didn't remove that endometrioma, as this was done at local hospital.

I was wondering if anyone with a similar situation could share their egg collection experience, how do they do it when endo is severe? Any IVF success? My AMH is borderline low.

My next endo surgery won't be for at least another year (got that good news today) and feel hopeless.

Oh dear, I'm sorry for the news you got x

I know about many women with endo who have gone to have successful ivf pregnancies. Be prepared for a painful collection, ( it might be okay for you, but it can be tough) and also note that most 1st cycles are unsuccessful, but really important for data collection.

I hope someone with more experience on the matter will come along and help out Xxx
