@K8dferXdder I've only been tested once, but the tests are around £3000 as its not just the peripheral nk cells test. I di know someone who did repeat the tests but I don't think that is standard.

Thank you for your response @VenusStarr . I understand that the NK cells tests are 2 options:

  1. With Gorgy and ARGC Etc where NK blood tests are sent to Chicago. These clinics test every 3 weeks after positive test
  2. Mine were done locally, few labs do them - The doctors laboratory, mine were with RIC St. Helier and I was told they are being done only once, based on which the treatment plan is decided.

I am not sure whether there is a difference in 1) and 2) but my parameters tested were CD69, TH1:TH2 etc. Just wonder why some clinic repeat the same expensive tests every 3 weeks while others say just once is enough 😕I think in my one off blood test they tried to suppress my NK cells and their toxicity with Prednisolone, Intralipids and IVIG and they mix them with something to mimic pregnancy so they see how the reaction of the cells is during pregnancy, when suppressed with each solution.
While 1) I think they test the parameters and they give the treatment to the individual and test every 3 weeks to check how the body changes with the treatment and adjust the treatment accordingly.
