Hi all,
Posting to see if there is anyone out there who is/has been in a similar position to us.
We have a wonderful 4 year old son who is truly a blessing. During my pregnancy with him I bled an awful lot at the start but never knew why. When I gave birth I gave birth to 2 placentas and the doctors/midwives put the early bleeding down to the loss of a twin.
We decided to ttc for number 2 in July 2020 and were successful very quickly. However we unfortunately miscarried on November 13th 2020 I was around 7 weeks but they couldn’t find any evidence of a pregnancy on scans and told me it was a PUL. I had to keep returning for HCG tests which continued to rise for a week then dropped. They suspected this pregnancy was ectopic.
We then caught but lost again with a mmc on June 23rd 2021 - I should have been 9 weeks but baby stopped growing at 6 weeks and I had medical management.
I had a natural miscarriage (at work 🙁) on October 22nd 2021 after some bleeding and most recently had another natural miscarriage on April 1st 2022 after seeing a heartbeat only a week before 🙁.
I have been under Tommys since my 3rd loss. During my last pregnancy I was placed on Inhixa blood thinning injections due to my Lupus anticoagulant antibodies test results being borderline, I was on 400mg utrogestan progesterone pessaries twice a day as well as low dose aspirin.
We really thought this would be enough but unfortunately it wasn’t.
Does anyone have any success stories? Or any advice on what we could do differently next time?
We are so so blessed to have a wonderful marriage & our son so I am trying so hard to be positive - just don’t know how many more times I can put myself through this again and wondering if anyone has ever been through similar with a positive outcome?
Thanks to anyone who has taken the time to read xx
