FET with grade C embryo

Hi :)
We are doing IVF with an egg donor, and had my first transfer early this month with our grade A embryo. Sadly this was not successful, we are now working towards our next transfer.

Unfortunately we only have 1 more embryo from our donor which is a Grade C.
Does anyone have any success stories for a similar situation or any advice on what you’ve done differently on subsequent transfer which you’ve found beneficial?
Thank you in advance ☺️ Xx

Don't worry too much about grade, it will just give you more stress. Embryologist said that regardless of grade if they transfer is because it has the potential to be a baby.

I've recently started Aspirin 100 mg before embryo transfer, apparently it helps implantation but you must discuss it with your doctor. What can you different? It highly depends on your health, if you have any other issues, immunological issues, PCOS, etc. Did you get all your tests before starting IVF ?

Sometimes even if everything is good it just takes time. Was your egg donor young? Cause apparently that helps with egg quality.

Thank you for your reply ☺️
Our donor is 31, she has had 3 children of her own, and has donated once before who were successful.
I’m diagnosed with primary ovarian insufficiency..all tests were done to my knowledge before starting

@Becky130393 yes I had a grade 2CC transferred. I was pretty upset when I found out as it was already in when they told me the grade and I thought there was no hope but he’s now 11 months old 😍

That’s lovely news, congratulations! 🥰 is there anything you found helpful prior to the transfer?

A little late to the party, but our best quality embryo was a grade C (other one was an E)

They stuck them both back in and i'm currently pregnant.

A family member who had IVF before us also had success with a C Smile

Hi! I am just now finding this thread as I am "researching" after receiving our pgt-A results. Out of the 3 sent for testing, 2 came back normal and one of them is a 3cc girl. I'm a little sad, but finding hope in your story. We plan to do a FET in September.
