Starting IVF

Hi all,

I have my first consult for IVF treatment plan coming up. I was just wondering peoples experience on the wait between that first consultation and actually starting treatment?
Also I don't have cycles due to bad PCOS I can go about a year without one sometimes, for anyone in a similar situation did they still put you on something like birth control to induce a bleed or did they just start the injections straight away ?

I had my first appointment in December and I had my egg collection on Friday- there were a few appointments in between and the treatment plan, swabs, blood tests and the stims so from my first appointment to my stims starting was 10 weeks. My period decided to show up late even though I was on Northesteroine to control it so that delayed it a week.
Once you have your first appointment everything starts!
