I'm almost 36 and have a 3 year old ds. We've been trying for baby no 2 for about 18 months. So far I've had the 21 day blood test to see if I'm ovulating which came back normal. Dh is waiting to get his sperm checked.

I'm hoping someone can explain to me what happens from here? What further tests can be done on the nhs and how far we can take it on the nhs before we would have to go private?

Unfortunately there isn't much more they can do? Obviously you aren't eligible for treatment so on the basis that you are ovulating and your DH sperm comes back ok then it's a case of carry on trying or move onto IVF, even if something does come up in his sperm tests the outcome will be the same. I'd perhaps just get the test results and start researching private clinics if IVF is something you are open to doing
