Hi All,

After some advice. I have stage 4 endo.
My gyno breifly mentioned cutting out all carbs and sugar from my diet.
I am a bit thrown by that as I am a vegetarian so it is hard to cut out all carbs. I read online that potatoes and rice are ok, so I have been bulking meals up with them. However, today he has said to avoid potatoes and rice too.

Any help and advice greatly appreciated xx

I’m afraid I have no advice re the cutting carbs, I suffered with endometriosis for 25 years and it was confirmed to be stage 4 when I finally had a hysterectomy.
Is your consultant advising the carb cutting in a hope it may help to reduce inflammation?

Hi there,

I don't have endometriosis but have PCOS. My FS ask me to do low carb low sugar diet.

It seems really hard to do and the easiest way I found was to do sort of "Lazy Keto". Definitely stop all high carb processed food, don't count calories and only choose low carb foods. Anything under 4 gr carb per serve is considered low carb.

Potato is too high in carbs but I guess you can eat a bit of brown rice since it's low GI.

If I want a treat I buy keto items, as in low carb keto bread, low carb chocolate bar, low carb wraps, etc.

Google about keto and add a few FB keto groups, they have very good recipes.
