Hi,

Back again ..

I received my appointment in for the fertility clinic for myself and my husband to attend.
Our first appointment is a virtual appointment.

I have so many mixed emotions about it.

My period is also 5 days late but negative pregnancy test 😔

Just wondered if anyone else has any information on what to expect at our first appointment.

Thanks x

With mine, the consultant just went through my history and referred me for further blood tests, DH was referred for a sperm test and I was referred for a HSG to check my fallopian tubes for blockages.

@Pinktruffle thank you for the useful info!
Did this all take long or was it all done fairly quickly?
Thanks x

@HollyBrwn my referral for the HSG came through fairly quickly but you have to do it at a certain point in your cycle and my period decided to go on holiday for 3 months so took a while for me to be able to have the test.

I generally found my appointments with the fertility clinic (I was with the NHS) were around 6 months apart. At my second appointment (once they had all test results) I was prescribed Letrozole, I had a 6 month course of that which was sadly unsuccessful. On my third appointment I was referred for IVF, so it took a year and a half in total to get to that point.
