Hi all,

Having googled so much already, I'm looking for more stories about success either via IVF or naturally with MFI (low sperm count / morphology).

Backstory:
TTC >1 year
MFI identified
0% morphology
8 million per ml concentration (46 mill count)
Everything else above average

  • Referred for IVF but my OH is really desperate for natural conception so we will try for longer ... but how long we don't know yet.
  • Since end of Jan, he has been taking Proxeed amongst other things.
  • seeing Urologist in a few weeks

All my tests are fine. AMH slightly low for my age. Regular cycle, regular ovulation.

Thank you x

Hey we had mf, I'm sure he was 5 million on initial test then took condysal and it went up to 8 million. Can't remember the other numbers. We had icsi and it worked first time . My amh was 6.5 which no one ever said anything about but when I googled it, it says it's on the lower side for my age. Anyway 12'eggs collected all mature, 6 fertilised and 3 made it to day 5. One transfered and one frozen. I don't think the other was suitable for freezing. We stopped birth control around 8 years before so for us it never happened naturally. I still hold out hope that it might still happen🙈because you just never know....

Thank you @Mrsmch123 - amazing that it worked first time for you. How long did you try for? X

We stopped birth control about 8 years before we started icsi. We done the whole ohh let's just see what happens, which was nothing. Then we had a year delay for icsi due to my husbands parents dying then the pandemic hit which delayed us another 6 months.
