Anyone STIM for 15 days?

Hi all

I was hoping for tonight to be my last night stimming but follicles have only grown about 1.5mm in two days so I’m now stimming at least till Monday which will be 15 days. I’m on 300 Menopur. Anyone stim this long? This is my second cycle. The same happened last time.

I can't remember exactly how long I stimmed for but it was certainly longer than average I had to go back for a couple of extra scans as the follicles grew so slowly and I was on a higher dose of menopur. When I did eventually get to egg collection stage they only collected 6 of which 4 fertilised and 2 developed to 5 day blasts. I had one put back in and 1 frozen. My one in is upstairs in bed and we recently donated our frozen to stem cell research as 18 months after DD birth I became pregnant with DS a complete surprise after the 5 years TTC before IVF without a hint of a BFP.

Thank you for replying @ArtfulScreamer I love your name by the way. You have given me hope. To be honest I’m kind of going through the motions right now not expecting anything. So it’s nice to hear a success story so I can occasionally feel a bit of excitement in this process. My last IVF cycle ended in miscarriage so I know things don’t always work out but🤞 it’s different this time.
