Hey 👋 I had my first embryo transfer on Thur 3rd March is thur day 1 or day 0?
Anyone else had a 3 day transfer how early did you test ? I know I am super early and not worth testing right now but I may not be able to hold out until next Tue to do a test 😂 so just curious
The embryo itself was looking good on transfer day 8 cells even division and no fragmentation, I am a little worried I have not felt any cramping or had any spotting to indicate implantation - would be interested to hear other experiences on this

Thursday is day 0, so start counting from the Friday. Did you have a trigger / is it a fresh cycle? If so be mindful it can stay in your system. Mine was still present 10 days past trigger.

@VenusStarr thank you, yes I had a trigger (10days ago) and this is a fresh transfer

I started testing at 7dp3dt which is equivalent to 5dp5dt. You'll need to use a FRER and even then that is still super early to get an accurate result. Good luck!

@Hopewishprayer... I had my 3 day transfer of a perfect 8 cell on Tues 1st March so am 7 days past today. I started testing yesterday but I'm only using One Step cheapie sticks... Negative so far. Thought I saw a shadow this morning but then it disappeared. I've had stitch type feelings and tenderish boobs but could just be progesterone meds. I've had two 5 day transfers previously (DS and DD) and I tested positive on day 7 with them, so am assuming day 9 is a possible. I'm 42 and this is our last try for number 3... Fingers crossed for us both x

@firefly37 it’s so hard not knowing! Interesting, I have had a stitch like feeling yesterday but that’s all I have had. I hope you get your positive 🤞

@TTCafterIVF when you started testing so early did you have a reliable result?

@Hopewishprayer yes there was the faintest of lines and I wasn't sure whether it was an indent so I wasn't absolutely sure until a few days later

Hiya, I had a 3dt with a top grade 7 cell embryo. I tested on day 11 (not fmu) and it was negative. Day 13 was my official test day and this was positive. Got our early scan this week at 7 weeks.
I would definitely hold out testing as long as possible. I know its hard, but keep yourself busy ❤

@cd0457 this thread refers to IVF transfers so it differs a bit from ovulation. It is highly unlikely to get a line at 8dpo because the embryo will have only just started to implant a couple of days before so the HCG in urine won't be high enough to dectect yet. You'll need to test again at 10dpo (which is the same as 5dp5dt or 7dp3dt in IVF) as the HCG levels may then be high enough to be picked up on a test. Good luck

I tested out my 10,000 trigger and got a BPF At 3.5dp5dt but that was twins and one was a fresh embryo and the other frozen

I have zero willpower so always tested early

@firefly37 how are you getting on?
Tomorrow is my OTD but thinking about testing this evening (11dp3dt) 😬

Please can I jump on here ? This is my 3rd attempt at IVF . I only ever get 2 eggs and this time only 1 was mature but it managed to get to day 5 blastocyst & was good quality ❤️ Had transfer last Saturday (14th) had a negative test this morning . Does anyone think that I may have tested early and i should stay hopeful ?

@lemons44 i did have a BFP but sadly was a MMC at 8 weeks. I had 2 further transfers that didn’t stick and then recently another and am 10 weeks pregnant.
id say try hold off to your OTD to test, for me early testing causes more stress, good luck hope you get your BFP! X
