Frozen embryo transfer- help!

Hi all,
Sorry if I’ve posted this in the wrong place (please just let me know and I’ll delete).
Just wondering if anyone has had any experience with my current situation- I don’t mind if it’s negative of positive, but I’ve been scrolling the internet for hours and can’t find anything similar.

I am 4dp5dt. Having ivf due to PCOS. I had a medicated frozen transfer and started spotting a day after the transfer. The clinic said this could just be from touching my cervix (I had a small cervical ectropion).
After two more days of spotting (light red), I woke up this morning to a bright red bleed (light but more than spotting).
The clinic have added lubion injections today to try and help but they really worried me as the nurse said I definitely shouldn’t be bleeding this early on.
I have done a FRER today and it was negative.
I can accept this cycle may have failed but now I’m panicking that there’s something really wrong.

Has anyone else experienced red bleeding this early on after transfer and then gone on to have a successful cycle on the next round?

Thanks
Freya

@Freya871 iv just had my transfer on Tuesday, i didn't have the same situation - i would recommend you post on a current IVF thread and you may find someone else with a similar experience. Try posting on "IVF/FET Feb March no3 2022"

@Freya871 I had this with my first fresh transfer. Stared bleeding 4dp5dt and it was AF. Clinic insisted it wasn't and that I keep up cyclogest until test day and it was obviously negative. I kept bleeding until I stopped the meds.

I only experienced it with fresh transfer and me did a fresh transfer again. With my subsequent FET cycles I did 6 days of lubion before the transfer and didn't have the same problem again. I'm currently pregnant after my 2nd FET transfer, so don't less this experience cause you to lose hope x

That should say never did a fresh transfer again*

Thank you for the reply.

That’s really reassuring! Mine was a frozen transfer but they only just added lubion in so hopefully some tweaks next time will work.

And- congratulations!!!

@Freya871 Hopefully clinic will review your cycle and come up with a plan for next time. Sending you best of luck for the future

@Freya871 i'm sorry it didn't work this time, do you have many in the bank? the clinic will make the tweaks you need for better chances next time

Hi everyone, I need to transfer frozen embryos between two NHS London clinics. We have to use a specialist courier company because both clinics don’t offer dry shippers. I’ve contacted a few and they’re all offering different rates. Embryoport has a registered company and is charging the highest of all quotes. CryoA2B also seems like a good option and is charging much lesser than Embryoport but I’m not sure they are registered. Does anyone have recent experience of using these companies and how did it go? Does it matter if they are registered or not? Really confused about which one to choose.

Apologies for posting this on an existing thread by mistake. I can’t delete. I’ve now posted as a new thread too.
