Hello all,
Can anyone with lived experience of, advise what is the best time of day to take IVF medications to counteract side effects? Evening vs morning, etc
Would you suggest before bedtime?

Thank you,
IVFnewby

Hi there 👋🏻 I'm a newbie too and literally just started stims. I'm not sure about avoiding side effects but my nurse recommended evening. As if you go for a scan and they change anything, you've not already had the meds prior and can make the change that evening. Others may have other advise. Also what works best for you, for us there's more time and it's relaxed in the evening. Wishing you all the best in your cycle ❤️

Just finished my third round of stims - I've always been advised to take them in the evening. One thing to bear in mind when choosing a time is that if you'll be adding another med later on, when will you need to take that in relation to the stims? For example with my protocol from about day 6 I add in a block which I'm advised to take an hour before the stims
I usually do stims at 7:00pm so when I add the blocker I know I'll be taking it at 6:00pm which gives me time to finish work and calmly get all the meds ready to inject at this time
