Advice
Hi all
Hope you are doing well.
I started my ivf in jan 2022 - DR, then had my baseline and covid tests. He tested positive and our treatment got cancelled- nhs.
Clinic advised March is next availability! However, my sister is getting in May, I have three weddings in May. Hen in March and other events too. Am I being selfish to now want to push treatment to June to let things settle. He keep asking if I have phoned the clinic, when I have explained the above.
I’m turning 39 March

My consultant told me that at my age (39) it was important to get moving quickly because each month makes a difference to egg quality/quantity. I wouldn’t wait, personally!

I don't think your being selfish but I think you should really think about it, waiting a few months is nothing if the first transfer works and if treatment can still go ahead in May but the world is a very uncertain place at present and anything could happen before then.
Yes the war is not in the UK bit drugs are not all from the UK, a new Covid variant could shut everything down again.
I can see it from both sides it's your body that has to go through it all and with lockdown life has not been easy these past few years and I can see why you would want to have a 'normal' few months but he is going through it too.l and is probably worried you'll miss your chance.
They do advise that egg age declines every few months after 36 so is it really worth the risk.

I would get on with it op, kindly every month counts now

I dont think waiting 3 months is a big deal, especially if you so much on them months. Might be more relaxed starting in June. But I guess all depends on how long you have been trying, your amh and afc. Eitherway I dont 3 months is that huge an issue.
