Morning all,

I was just wondering if anyone was given Injections and try naturally or is it injections and iui/ivf?

I found out tomorrow but just curious.

@Pcosfighter67 you can do medicated cycles with timed intercourse, we did that with letrozole and for some people it might involve injectables afaik. It really depends on the situation and what your clinic recommends under the circumstances.

I'm quite far into my journey Im on metformin and tried clomid, just had ovarian drilling and hsg. 6 years into treatment now.
They mentioned injectables but didn't know if they would do that with timed intercourse or straight to more invasive treatments.

Hey, I don't think anyone is going to stop you from trying naturally the months you're off iui/ivf.

Have you started your fertility investigations?

Good luck today!

@Pcosfighter67 it might depend on your partner. We recommended against timed intercourse because DH has low motility but we tried it anyway and, shockingly, it didn’t work. Hope you get on ok!

@IsabelHerna see the comment I put above yours :)

@thislittlebird partner is fine has above average results.

@Pcosfighter67 in that case they’ll probably be open to you doing that if you wanted to try!

Just a quick update. Unfortunately it's time for IVF for us. We start in April all being well!
Sad as this isn't how you plan life but excited to be one step closer to having our family.

@Pcosfighter67 all it matters is the end result, your family. Wishing you the best of luck with IVF x

@Pcosfighter67 we had a long time to get our heads round it all because it was a battle to get funding but we tried OI in the meantime and it didn’t work so on the plus side you’re jumping to the most effective method of intervention. Good luck!
