I've just had my FET today, and now twiddling my thumbs wanting to do nothing but talk about it/ google stuff. Come join me on the roller-coaster ride!

Background - I have 2 kids, one conceived naturally and the second was the result of our 3rd FET back in 2019. We had two frosties leftover and I've just had one (5 day old) popped in today.

The embryologist said the embryo looked great and had hatched a bit, and I've had my immune treatment a couple of weeks ago so fingers crossed we get lucky.

Planning to test after 5 days (10dpo) on Wednesday.

(Ps I'm in Australia which is how I've gone and had my ET by 1am UK time today 😆🐨)

Hi, I’m 3dp6dt transfer and already obsessing over whether it’s worked or not!

We’re doing IVF for genetic reasons after our first pregnancy tragically ended in TFMR at nearly 24w. Our first IVF transfer was medicated and successful but inexplicably ended in miscarriage at 8w.

We have now finally transferred our last embryo with a modified natural cycle after 2 cancelled medicated FETs due to lining issues.

It’s our last chance before starting all over so I feel the pressure.

I have had absolutely no symptoms of implantation yet but I know it’s early. With my last FET, I had quite strong cramps 3dp5dt and so I know if I don’t start with those today then I’ll start feeling really discouraged. 😔

I’m also testing out my trigger shot which is adding a new level of uncertainty and anticipated sadness in case that line fades away and never comes back! I’m 10 days post trigger shot today and it’s still showing a faint line - I’ve heard it can take up to 14 days to disappear so just feeling so nervous!

Wishing you lots of luck xx

I'm so sorry you've had losses, it must be so hard to get back on the treatment after that. How are you feeling? Any cramping or anything?

No, still no cramping or any feelings of implantation so feeling quite worried as I did last time. 😔 how are you doing? X

Im also in my TWW wait. I'm certain it hasnt worked...Im 4dp5dt and only had cramping on the day of transfer. I have a naturally conceived 5 year old and desperate to give him a sibling. A part of me wants to stop taking all the meds as I know it hasnt worked.

RainbowSlide · 19/02/2022 12:34

Ah that sounds really tough, the wait is the worst, huh. Just not knowing. I guess every time it's different, I didn't feel a thing around implantation when my daughter was conceived but I definitely did with my ivf baby.

I was crampy on transfer day, now not so much but it's only 1dp5dt so I don't want to stress too much yet. Are you going to test on your own before the blood test date?

So disheartening, is this your first tww on ivf? I know the feeling,I had secondary infertility for years and it is really difficult. My fingers are firmly crossed for you

My clinic have given me a test date and will do bloods after that. Wishing you the best of luck x My husband has hidden the pregnancy tests lol

Raaraa123 · 19/02/2022 13:00

Yes first ivf. Im 35 so time is ticking!

TwistofFate · 19/02/2022 14:11

Hello all, I'm also in the 2WW following FET on 16th. We have a DD from fresh embryo, and had 2 frozen embryos. I would really love a second but I'm 38 so I'm not feeling too hopeful that it's worked.

tulipsandsnow · 19/02/2022 16:48

Hello fellow TWW gang! Just transferred this afternoon, this is my second FET, first one was a biochemical (with a day 6 5BC). I'll start testing 4dp5dt, so Wednesday- but right now Wednesday feels like an eternity! No children yet, chemical last time really broke me.

tulipsandsnow · 19/02/2022 16:49

Forgot to add that the chemical last time was with a euploid embryo

Lol nice one husband, although has he also stripped your access to Amazon prime for frers??

35 might feel old fertility wise, but remember that's based on averages and each body is different. I was 36 when my successful ivf took place. I'm 39 now so really pushing my luck a bit. We're in a lucky position that this would be a bonus as we have "leftover" embryos that i can't quite bear to throw away.

I'm very very envious that you can wait until the test date!

Hello! Sorry to hear about your chemical, I had that for my first ever FET back in 2018, it's so hard to see the lines one day that fade the next. I was really sad. Really hope this is the one for you, did your consultant have any idea what happened, and change anything this time round?

Snap on the Wednesday test date! It feels like next year as far as I'm concerned..!!

@RainbowSlide they don't recommend recurrent loss tests until at least 2 failures, usually with my personality I'd just go straight into it anyway likely, but totally financially wiped out now in debt and struggling, recurrent loss testing is about £3,000 total for EMMA/ALICE/ERA and all the blood screens. I took no progesterone support the first transfer and will have at least a small amount this round

Raaraa123 · 20/02/2022 20:16

Hi all, just some advice. If I get a negative 9dp5dt do you think I should stop taking meds? I just know that I'm not pregnant so don't want to be injecting more meds in me. Would like to take a break before moving onto the next cycle. Also how long did you wait between cycles? Did anyone have the embryo glue/scratch?

RainbowSlide · 21/02/2022 20:43

Guys I got a very faint line! Been trying to post a photo but it won't let me!

How is everyone on this thread getting on. I'm 5dpt and have no symptoms so if I test 9dpt and its negative I am going to stop taking meds. How long did you wait before going into the next cycle? Any tips for successful implantation?

grcrobbo · 21/02/2022 20:54

I’m 6dp6dt, no symptoms and completely negative test. I’m out. Good luck girls xx

tulipsandsnow · 21/02/2022 21:34

Congrats @RainbowSlide!

@grcrobbo line first showing up on 7dp5dt is not unheard of!

tulipsandsnow · 21/02/2022 21:37

@Raaraa123 if you get multiple stark negatives from different boxs of FRER on day 9, you could tell your clinic and they may advise to stop meds at that point- no one on here ever really encourages someone to stop before their doctor tells them to directly!

tulipsandsnow · 21/02/2022 21:40

@RainbowSlide I know you are many timezones ahead but its still Monday for you right? So aren't you 4dpt, you had said you weren't testig until Weds so I'm guessing you got symptoms? Or changed mind about early testing?x

Sorry I didn't reply earlier, I didn't see your post until today. After my first failed cycle I went straight into it again next cycle but that was on my consultants advice. If implantation is your issue, that's the same with me. I had an intralipid infusion to fight the natural killer cells in my womb, and I also have clexane and progesterone daily to help with lining etc. Can you ask your consultant about this?
