Hi. I’m just about to start my 5th round of IVF.
I’ve had blood tests to check my DHEA and testosterone levels. DHEA is 7.7 and testosterone is 0.9 (I think it was serum testosterone). My consultant said my DHEA level is fine but testosterone is slightly low so I don’t need to do anything, I’m just a bit confused because I thought the levels should correspond. As my DHEA level is normal I thought my testosterone would be normal as well. Can anyone help/advise?
