Failed IVF

I have a history of hypothyroidism and have irregular periods. I haad a failed IVF in December 2021 then I started my period in the first week of January. I started checking my ovulation through ovulation testing strip from day eleven after I finished my period but didn't see any sign of ovulation. It was always negative.
My concern is that I didn't get my period after IVF failure yet. I bleed soon after the IVF failure but not yet. I bleeded last on 13 January 2022. My GP is not helpful and I have failed to get an appointment with my GP despite several attempts. What should I do to get the periods and ovulation. Is it normal? I am 38 now.
I have an hospital appointment with my Fertility doctor in the mid of April. Can anyone please tell me what can I do as now.

Advice me what steps should I take to get my period. Is it worrying after IVF failure period not coming, or is it normal. How long should I wait to expect period.

It’s really normal for the first cycle after IVF to be delayed. I have clockwork 26 day cycles but have gone as long as 40 days.

The reason is that you still have a lot of drugs in your system & that disrupts things. If they scanned you this cycle, you would have seen a bunch of fat follicles. Hopefully your period comes soon & after that it should be more normal.
