Has anyone ever heard of this?
I had my day 3 and day 21 bloods done, and the only thing they found was high levels (over 200) of sex binding hormone globulin. My doctor seemed to be saying this alongside saying that I have high testosterone?

@ZiggysPFrow I think my doctor tested this for me when I asked if he could run tests for PCOS. It must have come back normal because I didn’t hear anything about it again. High testosterone is also a PCOS marker. Did they mention PCOS to you at all?

I was going to ask the same as pp. High testosterone could be PCOS, but I'm interesting on learning about this too, @ZiggysPFrow can you please let us know once you know?

Thank you so much for replying! The Dr didn't mention anything about PCOS, and (purely based on a v. Unscientific Google) I'm not sure the symptoms fit. It's so frustrating, finally thought we were getting somewhere!

Hi - hope this thread is still active. Have you had any updates? my bloods have come back high testosterone(2.3nmol) and high SHBG (160nmol). I am suffering with zero libido and lack of sex drive (that’s my main concern lol) but also have been tired regularly recently. I am on the pill and wanting to come off (we don’t want children) but trying to find a solution with husband as to birth control before stopping. I would love to hear an update from you as for all the googling I’ve really struggled!! Thank you

Hi!
Still not pregnant, sorry that's probably not what you wanted to hear.
Interesting to hear your story though as I never really found out tye significance of those hormones being unusual
I went to a private fertility doctor who also thought my thyroid was low which can affect whether the pregnancy 'sticks' appropriately
