Hello!

Just wondering if anyone is doing IVF at the Bournhall clinic in Wymondham/Norwich. We're due to start injections next weekend and egg collection scheduled for around the 25th. Would be so lovely to speak to other people going through the same thing!

@c1umsygiraffe hiya! I am! I just went through our first round...currently 6dp5dt!

How have you found the clinic/your journey so far?

@Jazz234 that's so exciting, how are you feeling?? How did you find everything?

It's going okay, clinic have been really nice, very patient with my 100s of emails 😂 I'm just mainly really struggling with the waiting side of things!

@c1umsygiraffe I feel alright thank you! Test on Friday :) earlier this week I would have answered different as this TWW has been a bit of an emotional roller coaster!

Process was actually OK. I found injections were easy, I had limited side effects. Egg collection was fine! You don't have GA at bourne, they give you something to make you feel a bit drunk but you are awake. Wasn't bad though! It did take me about a week to recover, I was very sore afterwards. Sadly didn't really get the results we wanted and out of 6 fertilised eggs we only had one average and 5 poor/slow quality embryos so I had a double transfer.
Overall, the staff have been so lovely but I do feel like I have had a cookie cutter round with virtually no personalisation to my needs etc, I had no baseline scan or hormone checks. So if I have to go for round 2 I will be asking for some of those things I think!

Not long till you start to inject! How are you feeling?! Yes the waiting is the worst isn't it. Feel like we are alllways waiting!

@Jazz234 how did it go yesterday?? Oh gosh, I'm not surprised, must be a hard 2 weeks! How come?

Oh okay, that sounds alright! First injection tonight, getting a bit nervous! Oh gosh, that's so weird they didn't do a baseline scan! Got my first scan booked in for Friday.
