I've been having a few period issues. At the worst I've gone 4 months between them.
I had a blood test and it showed high prolactin. I was referred to endocrinology and as I was on 2 medications that can give false readings (pantoprozole and amitryptalin) I was asked to come off medication for 3 days and retest. I was also asked to do a test for LH and FSH and oestradol
My prolactin came in high but not as high and I'm waiting a call from Dr but noone can tell me when. Oestradol is apparently OK at 553 pmol/l, I've had the LH and FSH results too and looking at the lab report they make no sense to me.
As I don't know how long I'll need to wait I wonder if anyone can help me decipher them? I've copied and pasted what the report says-

Serum follicle stimulating hormone level 35.2 IU/L
Serum LH level 66.8 IU/L
I'm guessing my levels are FSH 35.2 IUL AND LH 66.8 IU/L. From what I can gather it puts me at mid cycle but the test was actually taken when I was between 1 and 5 days late ( 24/28 day cycle, most cycles been 24 in last 2 years) I'm now between 8 and 12 days late.
Does anyone know if these results are normal or not? I'm guessing these results and the prolactin are to see about hormones in my pituary gland to see about a tumour.
I'm 42 but dr says I'm not in premature menopause as FSH was 6.9 in June
