TTC after Hysteroscopy on Sub Septate Uterus

I've recently had a Hysteroscopy to treat my sub septate uterus, I had two copper coils put in, and am on hormone meds. The coils come out in a few weeks. I wondered if anyone could let me know if they have had this surgery with a successful pregnancy afterwards and any indication on how long to wait post coils out before TTC again? Or any other information that may be useful

Thank you x

Hey, no real advice but I had a subseptate septum removal in October. I was told that I could ttc as soon as the coils came out which was end of Nov. But we didn't start ttc till Jan. This is our 2nd cycle now and hoping for BFP next week, but would love to hear so.e success stories.

Hey Amphibian94, oh wow fingers crossed for you - wishing you all the very best for a BFP! I've got my coils out on Wednesday, similar to you, we were told we could TTC straight away, but having 3 losses in the last year I'm kinda wondering if there's any benefit in letting myself to have a cycle to heal more before trying again or if I'm just over thinking it. Thank you for your reply & I'm wishing for good news for you next week! X

Thanks so much @galaxyexplorer. Best of luck to you! I have read that the uterus is healed after 2 months, but yes mentally I guess I wanted to give myself a little extra time. Fingers crossed for you x

@Amphibian94 How's this week been for you? I had my coils out on Wednesday and my consultant said I can have one more cycle and start trying again - which I'm excited and nervous about all at once! Sending positive hopes for you x

Hey! I am actually 7 weeks pregnant now, had a scan at 6 weeks and saw a baby with heart beat measuring great. I go back next week to check progress, its so nerve racking after 4 mc but hopefully this is it! Hope you get a bfp soon! X

@Amphibian94 oh my goodness!! I'm so pleased to hear this, this was just what I needed to hear this morning, thank you for sharing - wishing you all the absolute best. I understand how nerve wracking it is (I lost three and am sure I'll be the same if we catch again!) I'm so happy to hear this Star Do you mind me asking how many cycles before you got pregnant? xxx

I had my coils out in November but we only started trying in January, so I think 3 cycles? Glad to give you some positive vibes! :) we used to get pregnant first time each try, so maybe the surgery helped be more picky! X

Yes - same!! We used to get pregnant everytime too - so I'm hoping you're right and my body is being a little more sensitive Smile I'm due for my period in a few days, no signs of pregnancy yet (I'm so inpatient, but I'll keep you in mind when I feel low!) You've definitely made me feel more positive- thank you! Again, wishing you all the very best xxx

After my 2nd cycle with no joy I started to feel really down about it and almost went back to the doctors for more testing. Then I just calmed down and fell next cycle, so it will happen eventually. We also only dtd once that fertile window cause we wasn't tracking too much, so who knows what worked! Best of luck to you xx
