Egg collection was last Saturday, and collected 13 eggs. I felt fine afterwards, well enough to go for a bit of a walk on the way home and have been managing to go along relatively normally since. Yesterday afternoon my left ovary started to feel quite tender to press and just generally swollen. I had my egg transfer today and nurse noted that it was definitely swollen on the ultrasound but they were fine to go ahead if I was ok with it.
It's still painful and I've started to Google and worry why it's got worse rather than better and that I maybe shouldn't have gone ahead with the transfer. It's particularly painful when my bladder is full (presumably because it presses against it).
Just wondered if anyone else had one swollen ovary, and if so, did it get better on its own and how long did it take to go away?
