Hi, I have recently gone through fertility tests as I had an ectopic pregnancy 14 months ago and since then have not managed to conceive. The results are all showing I’m perimenopausal. The doctor is following up with more testing and then referral to a fertility specialist but I just wondered if anyone else was going through this? And what processes they are going through. From what I’ve read, ivf wouldn’t be successful as my eggs wouldn’t be viable and also we wouldn’t be eligible as my bmi is too high and my partner already has a child. I’m just feeling very sad that at 38 it seems I have missed my chance and would like to hear from others that are going through similar and maybe further along in the process to know what may be offered.
