Who's having treatment?

Following as we’ve shortlisted King’s for IVF (secondary infertility) this year. What’s been your experience of the clinic so far?

Hi, I've had an initial consultation and scan. The scan was very comprehensive and I was impressed.

I'm wondering if I should have started it in another category other than infertility but hey ho.

We’ve been advised to try for a little longer by another clinic as my DH’s most recent SA has come back normal (really low count and morphology before). Think we’ll look to book in our first appt with King’s in March. Do you have any tips for the first consultation? Did you get all your tests done (bloods/hycosy) done beforehand?

I sent some info on health and my ttc journey (previous ivf protocol etc). In preparation for my 1st appointment. I think the Dr found that useful.
There can be a wait for appointments (3 week wait for follow up) but u should be fine for March.

I've had some tests done beforehand e.g. AMH,FSH and thyroid but will need viral ones done closer to the cycle as they only last 3months.

@JemInher40s - will you be seeing the same dr or consultant for all of your appointments? Where did you have your previous IVF round? X

Hi, no it will be a different doctor for next consultation. My first round was at a clinic in Wales.

Hi, unfortunately my treatment will be postponed until later in the year. I wish you luck for your consultation.
