What is the cost of a private HSG?

For some reason my local NHS Trust will only perform HSG tests after ovulation, rather than the common approach of doing them before day 10.

This would mean having to skip a cycle and abstain from TTC. I am 39. I do not have time to skip cycles!

So I am considering having a private HSG test - where presumably I could schedule before ovulation - however I can't find any guideline as to price. Has anyone had one?

I had mine at Hammersmith Hospital, the interventional radiologist did it, so it was very thorough. I think it cost £550.

Mine was also about £500 in sw London

I had a hycosy done (which I believe does same thing as the HSG but uses ultrasound) at the London Gynaecology Centre on Harley Street. Was £550.
