I am based in the UK but am having fertility treatment in South Africa. I am struggling to get a private prescription for the medication my fertility clinic instructed me to get/take.
My GP has informed me that the can't issue a prescription and that it would have to be a private prescription. Bupa has referred me back to NHS. I urgently need to start injections.
Has anyone had treatment overseas and had to get medication here in the UK? Any advice on who does issue private prescriptions for fertility drugs would be hugely appreciated.
