I just had a laproscopy to find the cause of my pelvic pain. Endometriosis was suspected, but in the end it turned out I have scarring on one ovary and both fallopian tubes from undiagnosed PID. One is closed and one is mostly closed. We will need IVF to conceive, which obviously has been upsetting news.
I'm 28 and we were not trying for a baby or planning on TTC for another few years. Naturally this has made us rethink our timelines. We are not ready to go for IVF yet as we need time to get our ducks in a row financially and buy a house.
Does anyone know what the wait times are like in London, North London particularly? We're in Enfield. I suppose I'm wondering if it's best to get into the system now or whether to wait until we are fully ready to go. I'd like to be ready to go no later than 30.
Any knowledge that could be shared would be much appreciated!
