Hello

I've had my consultation as well as prices Hmmand wondering if anyone has had any experience with them. They have told me I have to down reg after egg collection due to my endometriosis and pit me in the best possible situation. I'm still a bit flabbergasted at the total price for 3 cycles so any advice is helpful for next steps please ....

Following. I'm currently debating doing a 3 cycle package with create or going abroad.

Pinklady81 · 29/12/2021 20:27

I haven't even contemplated going abroad .... with covid etc but I know the costs are cheaper

@Pinklady81 the 3 cycle packages are definitely better value. We also need ICSI with surgical sperm removal so need to look into how this would work. COVID is the only thing putting me off going abroad.

Pinklady81 · 29/12/2021 20:41

We are having icsi too

I had one cycle and fell pregnant. I managed to get quite a few eggs which did fertilise. I did end up with OHSS though and am still not sure how this really happened considering it is meant to be ‘mild’. This is definitely something I would ask about before starting treatment.

Mochii · 30/12/2021 00:17

I should have added, although the eggs fertilised they did not last until day 5 unfortunately. If they had been frozen at day 3 I would have had 5, but ended up with just the one.

I did 5 rounds with Create - the first 2 were just stand alone short protocol rounds and Rounds 3-5 were a natural modified 3 cycle package (all with ICSI)
In total I spent £35k but I did have twins at the end of it with 2 more top quality blastocysts still frozen

Create are actually about the same price as all other clinics - the drugs are obviously cheaper as don't tend to take as many and they don't do as many expensive add ons so probably a couple of grand cheaper overall. The natural modified 3 cycle package was significantly cheaper though then what you get at other places

Rounds 1 and 2 cost circa £10k each by the time you add in frozen transfers, freeze alls and then we did some PGS on top of that

Rounds 3-5 package was £13.5k all in cost for everything and I had twins....

You won't get IVF any cheaper in the U.K. unless you can get in with Create's sister clinic ABC but they have specific criteria you need to meet to be accepted as a patient

Hello, I used Create had 3 mild protocol cycles and failed FET. Second cycle chemical pregnancy and third cycle resulted in my 6 month old DS.
I think their prices are similar to other clinics
Overall I had a good experience with Create. I have some frozen embryos so will be going back

DivingOffTheTopDeck · 08/01/2022 15:55

I was with Create and did Mild IVF, only got one embryo that was a 4AA but resulted in a miscarriage. They were excellent in terms of manner etc but we’ve decided not to do Mild IVF again. We are going to do a standard protocol and see if we fair better. Good lick with whatever you decide!

DivingOffTheTopDeck · 08/01/2022 15:57

Also look at Access Packages, some are 50% or 100% refund if you’re under 39 I think...that’s what. We are looking at next

Pinklady81 · 08/01/2022 16:23

@DivingOffTheTopDeck I can't do refund packages due to me being 40 and standard protocol isn't advised for me due to having g severe endo ...

Ihave adenomyosis, poor egg quality, low AMH and DH has low morphology and high DNA fragmentation. I know people say a milder regime is calmer on your body but my eggs didn’t grow well at all on the mild regime. For five days there was no growth. I’m not sure it will work on standard either but from my personal experience mild isn’t for me...most other places than Create don’t recommend mild IVF. Just my opinion obviously. I’m glad I did it for my first round though and saw what effect it had for myself as I really bought into the mild regime equals better quality eggs but then I saw for myself it wasn’t the case.

Pinklady81 · 08/01/2022 16:52

@DivingOffTheTopDeck ok thanks for the advice I have t started yet as I'm still working out how to pay for it all! I will ask the question to my consultant as I'm already worried beyond belief at all the ifs bits maybes

Just completed a 3 cycle mild package with Create. I'm 40. We had 3 Blasts 1st cycle. 3 blasts 2nd Cycle and 4 blasts 3rd cycle. Had a fresh transfer after 3rd cycle which ended up BFN after Christmas. Now we are just waiting for the ones we sent to be tested so we can have a FET. So still have 9 frozen for now.

Pinklady81 · 08/01/2022 21:33

@Justhopeful I'm so sorry to hear your news everything crossed for your FET. How have you found Create? X

Justhopeful · 08/01/2022 21:50

@Pinklady81 thank you. Its been okay, staff are nice. Though I have to do a lot of my own research and try to ask the right questions, if not I find we don't get information if we do not ask questions.

Pinklady81 · 08/01/2022 21:52

@Justhopeful I have had my initial consultation but I just Google everything and it sends my mind into overdrive. I'm hoping you're okay though and manage to get through this horrible time

OP posts:
Justhopeful · 08/01/2022 23:18

@Pinklady81 it's been quite hard, but looking forward to the FET, and mostly hoping at least a couple of our 6 embryos we gave for testing will come back normal. I wish you all the best with your journey.

Pinklady81 · 09/01/2022 09:48

@Justhopeful I am having img embryos tested too have you found this helpful? I was told due to my age it's a must

Boombangboom · 09/01/2022 23:56

Hi @Pinklady81 I was with argc but considered create. I questioned the argc consultant on the quality over quantity create message and he said there was no research to prove this. I googled and couldn’t find anything either. He said it’s better to have a higher number of embryos as more likely to find a good one.
I had exactly the same struggle as you about what to spend a lot of money on !
I had low everything and so decided to go with more intensive standard ivf and got 2 blasts and one was normal. I then fell pregnant on the next ivf fresh cycle and had my dc.
It really is a hard decision to make

Justhopeful · 14/01/2022 21:07

@Pinklady81 just seeing this. We tested 6 of our 9 remaining embryos because I was too afraid we will be left with nothing to transfer, just had the result that 3 of those 6 are normal. Now waiting to book a FET. How are you getting on?

Pinklady81 · 14/01/2022 21:10

@Justhopeful I've had all the calls ready to start next cycle it's the financing of it that's keeping me awake !

OP posts:
Justhopeful · 14/01/2022 21:12

@Pinklady81 I hear you. It's been insane. That's why I really hope this works, can't imagine having a 4th cycle. And getting older

Pinklady81 · 14/01/2022 21:13

I don't think we can do it I can't raise that money that quick !
