Cyclogest (progesterone) dose, is consultant wrong?

For anyone who has had cyclogest 400mg pessaries, what dose were you on? I'm on is for recurrent miscarriage sadly.

My consultant prescribed 1 pessary (400mg) once daily but I've read the Tommy's website and drug leaflet and they both say that I should be on it twice a day.

What did other people have?

I don’t know the dose for current miscarriage but had a colleague who took it for the same as you and she was on 400mg suppositories twice a day.

I also took it twice a day in IVF pregnancy for 12 weeks.

I'm sorry about your previous miscarriages 🥺

For my first transfer I was one 800g of cyclogest so twice a day. Unfortunately that ended in chemical.

This time round I'm on the same dose of cyclogest but I'm also taking crinone this time so essentially taking some form of progesterone 3 times a day.

@LovesFood1987 sorry I meant 800mg 😅 definitely wasn't on 800g!
