Care Fertility, Woking

Just wondering if anyone has had a recent experience or going through IVF or FETs at Care Fertility in Woking? I have recently had treatment and the aftercare has been dire. No joined up communication, cold hearted consultants and a serious lack of regard on a professional and compassionate level. I literally feel as if I am on a conveyor belt and they genuinely don't care if I fall off. Anyone else had a similar experience?

Hey. I’m going through ivf with Care and must say it’s all a bit clinical! Lots of reading sent over to me but not much support and I’m finding it all very confusing. It’s my first time so not sure how they fare against other clinics.

Yes, it's very "portal heavy" with a ton of documents to read, and never any actual consultant to speak to. The nurses do their part, but when things go awry, there is literally no doctor in the house. It was my first time too and I have felt very let down. Wishing you lots of luck and best wishes with your cycle.

I'm about to start a cycle with care woking and have found them very good so far, in that there's always someone on reception, questions get answered very quickly, nurse call backs are very efficient etc. Consultant wise I had one with the Dr over the phone to discuss the protocol and that's it, he was professional but clinic as I expect from consultants, the nurses are far more warm. Whenever I haven't been sure of something I've called up and a nurse has called back same day to explain.
I haven't any experience of when things don't work and needing more support and follow ups however, might be worth telling them how you feel as there's a concerns and complaints procedure I think.
