Ovarian drilling.

Hey all,

I had ovarian drilling and lap and dye on Tuesday making me 2 days post op, I hardly bled post op but since last night I'm having a period like bleed ? Is it too soon to get a period from the op and this is just me healing ? Seems like too much blood for drilling such a tiny organ. 😅
I'm feeling fine in myself other than normal post op soreness, no temp or anything.
Any experience would be great 👍

@Pcosfighter67 I would give your clinic call and get their advice, I wouldnt have thought there should be too much bleeding from drilling (especially as it’s got heavier not lighter since the op) and two days does seem strange to suddenly get your period. Either way I would check in with your clinic to be safe. Hope it all turns out ok.

Hi op I had this done during my period! Lol i thought my operation would be cancelled but after the drilling I did bleed a bit heavier then I normally would but I was fine after a few days but yes I would check with your doctor just in case xx

Hi guys sorry for the delay, last few days have been a bit of a blur 😅
I rang my clinic as the bleeding was definitely a heavy period type bleed spoke through it with them and they reckon I've had a fast response to the sudden hormone shift and that it is indeed a period and mark it down like I would normally :) hope this is a good sign its going to work and if it does and I have a normal cycle for the first time in my life it would put ovulation at around Xmas day 😅
