Hello,

I have been having fertility treatment (two cancelled IVF's due to poor response). My clinic have now said they can only treat me if i use donar eggs.

I have booked another consultation in a few weeks for a second opinion. However since i haven't had my bloods tested since 2019 thought i would get them done through medicheck for up to date results for my consultation.

Results:
Thyroid normal.. Yay!
Protein SHBG 18.9
FSH 29.5 (day 5, was 8.5 in 2019 on day 3)
Lh 22.6
Oestradiol 18.4
Testosterone 0.23
Prolactin 99.8
Androgen normal range.

I am so worried! I was told in 2019 that my results indicate PCOS but they said i definitely don't have it as i do not have cystic ovaries.

Medicheck have advised a diabetes test and said i am in menopuase. I am 40, have irregular periods but they still happen! Could anyone interpret these results? Do i need to give up the hope of a baby Sad

Thank you Flowers

Is it your FSH your worried about? It should really be done on day 2 or 3 x

Hi, thank you. Yes i will re do them on day 3, hopefully it will be a lot lower. I was worried about my hormone profile as a whole, as other than my thyroid everything was out of range Confused

@Biscuitsgalore18 Do you know what your thyroid level was? Under 4 is classed as normal, however for pregnancy IVF clinics like it to be under 2.5. Can't help with the rest, sorry!

Hi my thyroid was 1.71, so thankfully that's one area which seems ok
