Birmingham based- change clinics/go abroad?

Hope I can ask some advice. After our fertility referral was delayed due to covid made the decision to go private. Fast forward a year, issues with egg quality and sperm quality but no one can work out why and 3 failed cycles, we got blasts from all of them but only 1 so we couldn't freeze and they didn't take. I have been at the priory and can't fault the care I have received. I took a break as it was taking such a toll on me and now thinking what to do next- I considered changing clinics but I don't know what another clinic would do differently really, we tried different protocols with similar results. I could consider abroad or just accept that biological children just isn't going to happen. I'm 30 and not sure why my eggs are as bad as they are, supplements made no difference, DH doesn't smoke or drink and normal weight. I know sometimes multiple cycles are needed but our results seem beyond simple 'bad luck'. We've never had a positive test in 4 years of trying.

I know all our stories background and experiences are different but I just wondered if anyone had been in a similar situation what you decided to do and why? Xx

I was with Create Birmingham and had twins via natural modified IVF with ICSI - I had a great experience with them. I didn't feel like a walking cheque book and it felt like they genuinely cared about me having a baby. When I got pregnant naturally inbetween cycles they did everything they could to prevent a miscarriage when the miscarriage clinic at heartlands weren't interested- didn't work for me but it did my friend

I also had crap egg quality - went to them after recurrent miscarriages and ectopics- my first 2 rounds were short protocol and did 3 transfers with average blastocysts- I PGS tested too and didn't get any normal embryos. Changed to natural modified IVF and did a 3 cycle package of embryo banking (no PGS testing) and had twins on my first transfer with 2 better quality embryos still frozen x

@4amstarts congratulations on your twins! I was considering create but interestingly my short cycle protocol I actually got more eggs of worse quantity compared to long cycle! So I'm not sure now :/ x

For me the less eggs the better quality x

Thanks, I feel like for most people this is the case! I got less eggs most better quality on long protocol, twice as many eggs but about half poor quality so still more eggs overall but similar numbers of blasts at the end of similar quality. However there are also sperm issues
