Hcg beta not doubling

Hi all. I'm currently on my second round of ivf (first resulted in a chemical pregnancy and a failed FET).
I had my first beta at 11dp3dt. It was 48, confirming a pregnancy. 3 days later I had another beta which was 125. The clinic said that was good, and that they didn't NEED to see me for another beta, but if I wanted one I could come back two days later to confirm doubling time. I went back around 46 hours later and my hcg was 211. I can't help but panic that it doesn't seem to be doubling fast enough. Plus all the numbers I see of other women online seem astronomical!
11dp3dt - 48
15dp3dt - 125
17dp3dt - 211

Does anyone have any advice or any thoughts? Positive or negative appreciated! Thanks

HCG should double every 2-3 days. You’re current doubling time is around 62 hours. That’s well within the realms of normal.

If it was only increasing a little (so, like, 125 then 140), I’d personally be worried it could be an ectopic or generally non-viable, but yours aren’t anything close to that.

I’d be happy with those numbers for now. Best of luck for your next test/scan! 🤞🏻

Thanks for your reply, it makes me feel better. I think I'm just worried that initially the doubling time averaged at 52 (based on the tests 3 days apart) and now it's gone up to around 63.
I think infertility and failed cycles breeds anxiety that will probably never go away, I just need a harsh word with myself!

It's such a tough time! No need to have a harsh word with yourself, more like a kind word that is empathetic to what an insanely difficult and stressful process this is! There's a site where you can enter your beta numbers and look at other women's averages but I forget what it's called. Betabase or something like that?

I would keep checking the doubling if you’re worried. I am always someone who prefers facts and to be prepared. They seem okay at the moment but in two of my pregnancies they doubled until just before week 6 Where they stopped doubling ( weren’t even doubling on 6 days) and then I mc at week 8.
Best of luck and hope yours continue to rise

Do you know how many cells your embryo had? I had a 7 cell day 3 embryo transfer.

Thanks for your thoughts everyone
@Monday55 mine was 6 cells in day 3, so maybe it's a little slower off the mark?

I think the little embryo is well in the margins of normal. Did you ask the clinic what they're thinking? Not that they will tell you, but just in case..

9 cells on day 3 here… beta 205 11dp3dt she’s 2.5 now
But that was my second cycle, my first cycle was beta numbers like your (very low) and I had a miscarriage at 10weeks
Good luck x
