What happens at a nurses discussion and at pre-treatment?

I'd be grateful for any info! I'm due to get my nurses discussion next week so really wanting to get as much information about it as possible and to make sure I can gather up some questions before we go.

Discuss the treatment in detail, timings, drugs, consent forms (if you've not already done them online)

We reviewed all the paperwork, did final weight checks/bloods etc, discussed the treatment schedule and did the consent forms.

@YouBoggleMyMind @Scirocco Thank you both! I'm due to go on Friday and then hopefully get my period straight after that. What happens at your appointment when you have your period?

That fully depends on your treatment. Best to ask the nurses this one.

@YouBoggleMyMind thank you for replying ☺️ I did ask one of the nurses I spoke to and she said that briefly you get an internal scan but all the other stuff gets discussed at the nurse appointment but she didn't give me much info on what that was.

@connal It'll vary depending on protocol, I think. I had an internal baseline scan, I think they took some bloods, and got my first lot of medication to take away, as well as a day and time for my next appointment.
