Ovulating before a medicated FET

I’ve just started my medicated FET on CD1. My clinic sees me for my first scan between CD10 and CD13. Due to weekends if I get seen on CD13 it is possible I would have ovulated by then. Is this possible or does the estrogen prevent ovulation?

Are you only taking oestrogen? My understanding is that some injections are given to stop ovulation (fyremadel or cetrotide) on a medicated FET?

@YouBoggleMyMind yes I’m just taking oestrogen. Progesterone gets added in after my first scan.

Estrogen supresses your ovaries so you won't be ovulating. They will monitor the lining and add in progestrone when it has reached the right thickness.

Had my FET in Sept/Oct. The oestrogen stops ovulation. It’s only in rare cases that women will ovulate while taking it so I wouldn’t worry too much.

You may also find that your transfer day falls outside of the time you’d normally ovulate but this doesn’t matter as they’ve basically hi-jacked your cycle (and you’re not ovulating anyway) so as long as you’ve had the progesterone it will be fine.

Best of luck OP! 🤞🏼

Must vary from clinic to clinic then cos for my FET I'll have injections for 7 days to stop ovulation but sounds like it's all ok from others Smile good luck 🤞🏻
