Diet and exercise during IVF short protocol injections

Dear all,
I am starting short protocol injections tonight and wanted to ask what did you change in your diet or excersise during stims?
I know that some clinics and nutritionists advise to drink a pint of whole milk. Others (mostly accupuncturists) say milk is not good.
Also regarding exersise - did you continue running, gym classes, or is it better to do only walking for these two weeks?
I will appreciate your help as I am totally confused with all the advice around it.

I’m not big into fitness but my clinic advised to dial it down. So I just walked daily. My clinic also recommended a high protein diet and a litre of milk a day! Plus lots of water I think 2 litres minimum. Your clinic should be advising you about diet really . Good luck

WakeuptoCake - Thank you fot your reply! My clinic told me to continue as usual, that's why I am worried that I have to do something. But maybe if we change since drastically it is also not very good..

I would suggest the milk and high protein and water and least, they checked every day I was doing that. Keep us updated 🤞

Thank you very much for your reply, I will follow this advise too! Did they told you anything about exercise? Thinking of cancelling pilates classes.. also slow jogging, is it OK?

I didn’t really do any before so I just maintained my walking. You can google it or look at threads on here for advice on exercising and ivf ( just google the question and add mumsnet at the end)

I started yesterday too! Smile

I was told to have a high protein, low carb and sugar diet. I’m vegan and already eat fairly healthily so just upping proteins and lowering carbs a bit.

Also low caffeine, max 2 teas a day.

Also to keep taking the supplements he told me to take months ago (prenatal with folate, vit D, 600 ubiquinol etc).

Not a rabid exercising person but I am walking the dog twice a day.

I dont drink milk because I know it's not really healthy, is there something your doctor wants you to receive? I would try having a single hard boiled egg instead of milk.
