Late period - 2nd month after failed IVF fresh cycle

Morning everyone,

I finished my first IVF fresh cycle last month and AF arrived on 8dp5dt. I'm ready to go again this month but I'm now 4 days late and there's no sign of AF. I have been fairly regular with cycle length between 28-31 days. We did TTC naturally during the supposed fertile window according to the tracker although I didn't use OPKs to confirm this month and I have taken two HPTs both BFN.

So is it normal for period to delay after a failed cycle? The clinic never mentioned it. How late can it go? Will the clinic be able to help if it doesn't come? Has anyone had similar experience they can share?

In a similar position. 1st period post failed ivf was fine. 2nd is now 2 days late. Keen to start next round before xmas clinic closure cut off. Think worrying about that and stress isn't helping. Wonder if delayed 2nd period is common. Funny thing is I had worried about it being early not late!!

Sorry to hear about failed treatments. It seems fairly common for your first after the month of IVF treatment for your cycle to be delayed, I was 9 days late despite being very regular and a few people on these forums mentioned similar xx

Thank you @Roo45. Period showed up this morning. So it was 5 days late. Kinda relieved but start to feel anxious about the new cycle now!

@Abi47 hope yours will arrive soon! Fingers crossed x
