FET cycle , 7 days of progesterone before trasfer ? Is this normal ?

I have FET transfer next week and nurse told me to start progesterone pessaries 7 days before transfer , is this too long ? Should it be like 5 days ? Will this affect my chances ? Thanks for any advice !

@ShareLove It will depend what day you froze your embryo. If you have done an ERA they will also optimise the protocol for your receptivity window I believe. I start progesterone 6 days before a 5 day emrbyo transfer. The day of transfer is the 7th day of progesterone. Your progesterone is mimicking ovulation - and remember your egg collection day (ovulation) is day zero in terms of the day age of your embryos.
